Okay so it's been a while since the last 'centerpiece of the week.' But better late than never right? I'm really liking the concept of this one... a vase taller than the flowers. Gives it a really nice and interesting look I think. And again... very simple!

This is again one of my favorite centerpieces! How great is this? So easy to DIY, and very easy on the budget. Not into green? Go with yellow lemons, red apples, or even try some of those totally great orange pepers for a really unique look. If you want to add more volume to the center of your tables, use multiple vases in varrying heights!

What I'm Working On... New Flower Arrangements and Centerpieces

I've been putting in some long hours, and working hard on some new stuff. All my designs below will be sold at the Small Business and Craft Fair in Brighton on Saturday, November 21st. There is nothing better for adding color to a wedding reception than a beautiful floral centerpiece. Flowers are what make a wedding a wedding, so why skip on them at the reception? This centerpiece is gorgeous, and creative too! Using a long tropical leaf to wrap the inside of the flower vase hides any inperfections from the stems, and adds a really modern touch.\

Favorite Wedding Color Combo of the Moment: Red and Turquoise

Though at first red and turquoise seem an unlikely pair they come together to make a fun, modern statement about a wedding. Reds can very from bright to deep, and the blues can range from turquoise to teal. Whatever combination you choose it's sure to be a hit, and will make a "photo finish" scene. Favor Idea for Christmas Themed Wedding

The beloved Martha Stewart Website has given me another wonderful idea for a wedding favor. This little wreath is made out of buttons and is a simple project for those do-it-yourself kind of brides. Guests will love to take these "ornaments" home to put on their tree, and will remember your wedding day every year when they pull out their Christmas decorations.

I love this craft so much that I am going to make one for each of my family members this Christmas as a gift-topper!
